FIANCEE
Natasha S asked:

I’m from the US and my boyfriend is from England. I’m going to be visiting him in the summer for 6 months and then I’m coming back home to apply for the Fiancee Visa. I wanted to know how long does it take for me to receive it? I also want to know if I can go to England 6 months at a time or is it just 6 months a year? Can I apply for the Fiancee Visa when I’m England or does it need to be done here in the States? I also want to know if I can work in the UK while visiting for those 6 months?

Alot of questions I know. But any help is needed. Thanks!
I do plan to marry him in England and live there for a while. I’m 20 btw.
I’m the one wanting to get the visa to marry him over in England. Not the other way around.

My fiancee has a bench warrant for failure to appear/driving on a suspended. We have 3 small children and he was scared to go to jail. We really want to get married before our oldest starts kindergarden next september. We can’t afford his fines right now, if we apply for a licence will he get arrested?

My fiancee is in the Air Force & he is stationed in England. What is the quickest way for me to get a fiancee visa to be able to go there so we can get married?

She is in Hong Kong & wants to move here to be with me. I read that after you apply for the fiancee/fiance papers that you have to marry within 90 days. That’s not enough time for us.

My fiancee would like to look for a roughneck job and I do not think he really knows where to start. Can anyone help use out? If you know of any companies we could contact that would be so great!

Ok….After a bride gets married, there are things that will be left over that she will no longer need and could be sold or given to a new bride. For example, the wedding dress, cake topper, etc.

If you’ve been married before or have any ideas, please let me know.

BTW, the groom doesn’t count…lol.

My fiancee is a British citizen (currently residing in Scotland), I’m an American. Known each other for years on the internet. Met after about seven years. Lived together in America for a while. The plan is to move to Scotland, get married, and live out our lives in bliss. The only problem is that we haven’t been able to get any straight answers on this whole Fiancee Visa thing. What’s the cost? How long does it take? How can I apply? What interviews do I have to go to? Do I have to have certain shots to live there? Can I apply while I’m in the UK? What repurcussions are there if I do apply after I’ve entered the UK? Does he have to go to an interview also? Does he have to have a certain job to prove he can support me without government funds? Does he have to have held it for a certain length of time? How should we go about proving that there will be a place for us to live? Gosh. So many questions about this.
